Plitvice Lakes
Plitvice Lakes are the oldest Croatian national park, and many consider it the most famous and the most beautiful croatian destination. The Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the greatest natural wonders of Europe, it was founded in 1979 and is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
There is no bus station near the National Park Plitvice, but there are several bus stops on the main road beside the park. Bus lines to and from Plitvice during the summer months are more frequent.
Useful information if you travel to Plitvice by bus
Plitvice lakes area are connected by bus lines to Zagreb and Karlovac. There are two entrances in the National Park and at both you are free to leave your luggage.
Useful information if you travel from Plitvice by bus
If you are traveling from Plitvice, you can take any of the buses that are located at bus stops near the park. It is possible to travel by bus to Karlovac and Zagreb.
