Vodnjan
Vodnjan is a a small town situated on the southwest of Istria, near Pula. His area is characterized by many Istrian "kažun" (little stone houses), built in the technique of dry-stone walls, and by the production of high quality wines and excellent olive oil. People from around the world come to see the Vodnjan's St. Jacob Church, the largest and one of the most important church with the highest bell tower in Istria, in which the world-famous collection of relics and preserved mummified bodies of saints is located.
