Paklenica
Paklenica National Park covers an area of Velika and Mala Paklenica on the south slopes of Velebit, and is known as the best preserved and largest forest complex in Dalmatia. Paklenica is rich with forests of black pine, beech forests, deep canyons with streams - Large and Small Paklenica and the cave "Manita peć", forest house, ethno-house, Paklenica mill, education center, presentation center and camp can also be found here. In the national park you can hike on 150-200 kilometers of trails and paths or climb in the most important Croatian climbing center.
Starigrad-Paklenica, the nearest bus station to National park, is about 40 kilometers on the north from Zadar. Numerous bus lines from Dalmatia and Kvarner operate to Starigrad-Paklenica, during the summer season departures are more often.

The area of Paklenica can be reach with daily bus lines from Zadar, Šibenik, Split and Rijeka. The nearest bus station to the entrance in national park is "Starigrad Paklenica NP". The bus station is located in Starigrad, in dr. Franjo Tudjman street in front of the hotel Alan.
