Bus lines from Rijeka to Zagreb and vice versa travel in an alternative direction due to the closed part of the highway, part of the road takes the old road through Gorski Kotar, and it is possible to delay the bus.

Because of the closed Adriatic highway between Karlobag and Sv. Marije Magdalena buses from Rijeka to Dalmatia and vice versa will operate on alternative routes, and will not visit stops between Senj and Zadar.

Due to the stormy wind, the section of the A1 road between the junctions Sveti Rok and Posedarje was opened only for passenger vehicles (the tour is via Karin, Obrovac and Gračac)
